When a player dies, they become a ghost and can assist in some ways with tasks or acts of sabotage but have little interaction with the remaining players.

Gameplay revolves around players determining who is who through group effort and voting to remove those suspected of being an imposter. Players can chat with each other through an in-game system but can only speak to each other during group meetings and not at all if they have become a ghost. Guidelines for the game disapprove of chatting outside of the game to prevent information being passed between players who know each other, but many still carry on Discord discussions.

The Crewmates have to complete mini-game tasks, stay alive while being hunted by the Imposter(s), fix sabotaged areas, and catch the Imposter before everyone is killed or a sabotage countdown goes off. That’s a lot to keep track of, and only being able to communicate during meeting chats can make some of it pretty challenging.

Use the Infinite Sabotage hack to remove that limitation and let you do as many as you need. If you are working with a partner or alone, this is an immensely helpful tool to have.

Playing as an Imposter is more entertaining while Crewmate requires more patience. There is no reason to keep those limitations in place when there are awesome hacks available that let you see the whole area, and there are limits placed on each type of player to impede their progress. Ghosts cannot interact with players, everyone has a limited scope of vision in a cone shape that keeps the other areas dark, and cooldown periods impede progress.

Show Ghost

When a player is killed, they become a ghost. Both Crewmates and Imposters, when there is more than one, can become ghosts. While they can, and should, go around completing tasks, they can no longer participate in the chat and cannot stop sabotage countdowns from going off. Remaining players who can see where ghosts are would be able to use that knowledge to give themselves an alibi when questioned. Use the Show Ghost hack to let you know where all of the players are at all times.

Ghost vision

Ghosts have unlimited vision even through walls or sabotaged areas. Being able to have this vision at all times is a huge boost.
