How to Disable Windows Defender Completely (For Safe Cheat Installation)
If you’re trying to install LaviCheats software, you may run into an issue: Windows Defender automatically blocks or deletes cheat files. This doesn’t mean our tools are unsafe — it happens because Defender is designed to aggressively flag any program that interacts with games. Even legitimate, undetected tools like ours can be falsely detected.
To ensure smooth installation and uninterrupted gameplay, it’s necessary to disable Windows Defender before setting up our software. Below, we explain why this step is important and walk you through safe ways to do it.
Why You Need to Disable Windows Defender
By default, Windows Defender runs in the background and scans every file you download or run. For normal apps, that’s great. But cheat tools often use advanced methods to bypass anti-cheat detection — and Defender can mistake these for malicious behavior.
- False positives – Defender deletes our loaders and injectors even though they’re clean and safe.
- Installation issues – Many customers can’t even start the software unless Defender is turned off.
- Account safety – Our undetected cheats require correct setup. If Defender interferes, it can corrupt files and increase risk.
Simply put: disabling Defender isn’t about lowering your security overall — it’s about ensuring our trusted tools work as intended.
Step 1: Turn Off Real-Time Protection
1. Open Settings → Update & Security → Windows Security.
2. Select Virus & Threat Protection.
3. Under Manage Settings, toggle off Real-Time Protection.⚠ Note: This only disables Defender until your next restart. For a permanent solution, continue below.

gpedit.msc.

Step 4: Add Exclusions
Even after disabling Defender, it’s smart to add exclusions so if it reactivates, it won’t delete your cheat files.
Go to Windows Security → Virus & Threat Protection → Manage Settings → Exclusions → Add or remove exclusions.
Add your LaviCheats install folder.Final Thoughts
Disabling Windows Defender may sound unusual, but it’s a necessary step for installing LaviCheats software. Our tools are tested, undetected, and safe, but Defender can’t distinguish between malicious programs and advanced cheat loaders.
